Prior to the development of the company, Gary was a partner at the regional CPA firm of Varney & Associates.

Gary is recognized in the accounting profession as the leading authority on technology and firm management. For the past ten years, he has been named by Accounting Today as one of the 100 most influential people in accounting. He consults and speaks internationally on management and technology related topics including strategic and technology planning, compensation and developing a training/learning culture. He acts as a planning facilitator, provides coaching and serves on many advisory boards.

Philip Holthouse serves as managing partner of HCVT with seven offices and 250 employees in Southern California. He provides tax planning and tax consulting services for privately held businesses and high net-worth individuals primarily in the real estate, entertainment and service industries. He also consults on leasing and real estate transactions. Phil began his career with Peat Marwick & Mitchell (KPMG) in Los Angeles and worked as a tax manager in Peat Marwick's national tax practice in Washington, D.C., where he monitored tax changes for the firm's affiliate offices. Phil co-founded Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP in 1991. A summa cum laude graduate, Phil holds a master's degree in business taxation and a bachelor's degree in business administration, both from the University of Southern California, and a law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles (Order of the Coif). He served as a part-time faculty member for USC's Graduate Taxation Program for approximately ten years, and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Leventhal School of Accounting at USC and the Graduate Tax Program at Loyola Law School. Other professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association, and the State Bar of California. Phil also serves on the boards of Ascent Media Corp. Previously, Allan was the President and CEO of PDI Global, Inc. which was the largest publisher of marketing newsletters for professional services firms, prior to its sale to Thomson Reuters in January of 2011. Prior to that, Allan was a Senior Partner in the Chicago-based accounting and consulting firm of FERS, where he served as the leader of the Investment Banking Group, as well as the Law Firm Consulting Group. At age 27, Allan had the distinction of being named the youngest partner in the history of the firm as was also a member of the firms Executive Committee. FERS was acquired by H&R Block in 1998.
Highly sought for his ability to engage and inspire audiences, Allan enjoys delivering keynote addresses at conferences throughout the professional services industry. Steve Levey, CEO and senior principal of GHP Horwath, and a senior principal of GHP Investment Advisors, Inc., has more than 32 years of experience providing wealth management services and tax and business advisory services. He holds the distinction of being one of the first CPAs in the U.S. to earn a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. He is also a Certified Public Accountant registered in the states of Colorado, Nevada, and Minnesota. He has extensive expertise providing tax and business advisory services to a wide variety of clients in areas including estate planning and related family owned business consulting, general tax planning and compliance, business acquisitions, dispositions and liquidations, and expert witness testimony in Denver, Douglas and Jefferson Counties, as well as Federal District Court. Steve has been recognized as one of the "Top 250 Best Financial Advisors in the U.S." by Worth magazine* and has been featured in Accounting Today as one of the "Names to Know in Financial Planning." Jay Moroney is the President of Lemme, in addition to his role as President, he consults with Top 100 accounting firms and co-leads the Lawyer's Professional Liability practice. Jay has made numerous risk management presentations to both accounting firms and law firms. Jay joined Lemme as Executive Vice President in 2001, after leading the professional liability programs for accounting and law firms at Chubb Executive Risk. In addition, Jay had profitability oversight over Chubb Executive Risk's professional firms programs and consulted with Chubb offices worldwide on professional liability issues. Before his insurance career, Jay earned his J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and practiced law for five years with a prominent law firm in Hartford, Connecticut.

John Wynn co-leads Lemme's lawyers' professional liability services group. Prior to joining Lemme in 2007, John was a Vice President at Axis Insurance where he served as Product Manager of the Accountants Professional Liability Program and underwrote large and midsize law firm professional liability. John has authored articles on exposures facing law firms in today's environment. Prior to joining Axis, John was a Practice Leader at Chubb. John practiced law for nine years in Chicago before joining Chubb in 2000. Before his insurance career, John earned his J.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law and practiced law for nine years with a law firm in Chicago.
